I am inspired by the act of collecting; both physical gathering and the accumulation of thoughts. This is reflected in the materials I choose. Through my work, I seek to provoke a balance between a contemplative experience and a sense of fun. Key threads explored within my practice include fragility, protection and preservation.
I studied for a degree in Fine Art, at Cardiff Institute, followed by an MA Fine Art: Drawing at Wimbledon. I have my own studio in Swindon, where I pursue my art practice alongside teaching on BA, MA and Foundation/Access programmes at Swindon College School of Art. In addition to this I teach workshops with the idea of expanding creativity of the individual.
