Daniel is a self-taught artist who works in a variety of disciplines to explore the artist’s emotional connection to various themes and ideas. His works are quiet and contemplative preferring a subdued palette and small scale which invite you in close to explore the intimate nature of the works. He often uses representational concepts with small hints of imaginative realism to communicate his ideas through the medium. He is interested in the symbolism that certain motifs create and the subtle metaphors that people give to objects and imagery.
Dan currently lives and works in Frome. Despite having no formal education - though he studied art at school, he is gaining a reputation as a fine artist and being exhibited in an increasing number of galleries in the South West.
